August saw a robust expansion of our API offerings, providing deeper control and richer data access across various Wix services.
Core Platform & Editor APIs
- The Editor Page and Pages SDKs (Version 1.784.0) now allow apps with site page extensions to read page information, including titles, extension IDs, page roles, and routers, as well as list app-managed pages by stable ID.
- The new Accessibility Scans API (Version 1.0.0) enables authorized apps and users to scan Wix sites for accessibility issues, retrieving detailed findings with severity and WCAG criteria.
- We've released the SEO APIs (Version 1.0.61), providing comprehensive control over a Wix site's SEO tags, including titles, descriptions, social share tags, canonical links, structured data, and indexing directives.
- Complementing the SEO APIs, the SEO Redirects API (Version 1.0.73) allows you to manage redirects, ensuring old links continue to function after page changes or for URL consolidation.
Business Solutions APIs
- Introducing Wix Rentals, a new scheduling business solution API that facilitates renting out resources like conference rooms, vehicles, or equipment, with customizable duration ranges.
- The Online Programs Steps API (Version 1.0.122) now manages individual content units within online program sections, supporting articles, videos, and quizzes.
- For online program participation, the Join Applications API (Version 1.0.126) streamlines the entire workflow, from member applications to owner-initiated invitations, approval, and payment.
- The Bookings Staff Members API (Version 1.0.1609) received new methods:
Count Staff Members V2,Query Staff Members V2,Search Staff Members V2, andSet Service Provider, enhancing staff management capabilities. - The new Get Paid Invoices APIs provide comprehensive tools to create, manage, send, and customize business invoices, including tracking their lifecycle and generating PDFs. This release includes the Invoices API, Invoice Presets API, and Invoice Settings API.

- Manage contact interactions with the new Contacts Activity Log APIs (Version 1.0.2), which include the Activities API and Templates API for a permanent record of contact events.
- The Form Templates API (Version 1.0.0) is now available, allowing you to retrieve reusable form definitions to present users with ready-made forms or to seed new, editable forms.
- The Email Marketing Campaigns API (Version 1.0.397) gained four new methods:
Create,Get Composer,Update Composer, andResend To Non Openers, offering more control over campaign management. - Additionally, the Marketing Email Marketing Campaign API (Version 1.0.401) now includes a

New Features & Developer Tools

- App Tools extensions and the Tools Provider service plugin (Version 1.0.3) are now available, allowing your app to expose custom tools to the Aria AI Assistant, enabling users to interact with your app's functionality directly through AI chat.
- A new Verified badge in the Wix App Market has been introduced for apps with a proven track record, meeting guidelines, and having significant installs, serving as a stepping stone towards Wix Choice recognition.
- To streamline the app submission process, Wix now includes an AI review for Wix App Market submissions, providing rapid feedback on compliance with App Market requirements.
- The Containers Chat API (Version 1.0.3) manages conversations and messages for the Wix AI coding agent, allowing integration of the agent's chat experience into your app for user requests and progress tracking.
Headless Development Advancements

- For Wix Payments Provider, the methods VoidOrRefundTransaction, CaptureTransaction, and GetTransaction will be deprecated on September 30, 2026.
